We are a UK-based social enterprise, founded in 2018 by Kenyan-born Moses Tai. Our vision is of a world in which everyone has access to the essential services necessary to fight poverty.
We enable access to essential services such as clean water and safe sanitation through our community projects. We develop resources and strategies to help mobilise communities. And we work with local communities and leaders to enact policy and public funding reform.
We believe that aid should not be a substitute for a dysfunctional system. It should be a tool to help build self sufficiency. By setting better precedents through our community projects and raising expectations through education and support, our ultimate aim is to empower communities to meet their own needs independently.
Everything we do is aimed at fighting poverty by increasing access to essential services for all. We achieve this using our innovative three-step approach.
1
Create precedence
We set new precedents for how public resources are used, and essential services are delivered, through our community projects
2
Raise expectations
We provide experience, education and support, encouraging communities to
expect more from public resources.
3
Promote participation
We empower communities to play an active and independent role in the key decision-making processes that affect them.

OUR CURRENT PROJECT
Our pilot project is set to provide clean water and new toilet facilities for the children of Nyansakia II Primary School in Kenya.
Check out our crowdfunding video of the project and see for yourself how vital our work really is.
A crucial pillar of the 2010 Kenyan Constitution is to encourage public participation in the country’s decision-making processes. However, studies show that there are a number of challenges preventing participation.
Our mission is to overcome these challenges. And our unique approach allows us to drive sustainability in three key areas:
Increase public participation
With access to better information, communities can make more informed choices about the things that affect them.
Improve public resource management
This is key to establishing a sustainable society and reducing dependency on aid.
Expand access to essential services
With access to essentials like clean water and safe sanitation, communities have the opportunity to lift themselves out of poverty.
