Vintage Macrame Ribbon Lace Shawl Hand Knotted Wrap unused starting in 1940This is a lovely hand knotted or macrame ribbon shawl with long fringe. The piece is made in a triangular form and features a quite intricate knotted pattern a large amount of work went into making this lovely shawl. I believe that these are of Spanish origin but were also made more recently in South America. Age: Difficult to date exactly theyve made these for many years, but given the complexity of the pattern, I think that this is an older example,
