For the garden

each stalk can reach 22" tall with leaves that are 7" long x 4

which flower in September and October

but the semi-evergreen fronds will remain until late winter/early spring

Agave lophantha Band Aid 5b This beautiful golden hosta comesWe got this large growing selection of the wide leaved form of Agave lophantha from Rick Nowakowski (not to be confused with the German Olympic boxing medalist) of Nature's Curiosity Shop. The tight growing 20" tall x 30" wide rosettes are composed of wide dark green leaves, highlighted with a central band of yellow. It does not offset nearly as rapidly as typical A. lophantha.
