There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the mineral and saline-inflected flavors that culminate in a moderately austere but balanced and persistent finish

offering expressive savory and citrus flavors

but it’s fantastically balanced and is a wine built for the long haul

It’s certainly very superior and the acidity is extremely well masked

As such my rating is a compromise as I suspect that this will develop even better complexity with age and thus even if the balance isn’t perfect

Fluid and full of cherry and currant flavors, it has refined tannins and harmony. Mint and earth accents mingle on the finish. Best from 2023 through 2043. 550 cases made, 50 cases imported.
